"...you image if I read!..."
"The job, usually, you can deal it in two ways: with passion or without passion. In the case of a farmer, it can be done in a way only...with the heart. The connection with the earth can be born every age, but in my case it is an "umbilical cord" that is never been cut. This way, I have breathed the scent of the countryside since the first footsteps, I have spent the childish and adolescent summers among lawns, vineyards, orchards, cattle, and without realizing it I was learning an hard job, without schedules, uncertain, always in struggle with the weather, but that it reserves yourself great satisfactions, as to pour a "Barbera Superior" in a glass, in Paris, enchanting the Costumers, or to make a taste of canned apricot in Copenaghen, discovering bewitching tastes, to transmit emotions during the visits in the winery, or reading stories of my book. Because sometime passions are not born together with you, but they grow, they mature with you, to explode even later; so I find myself 50'th to write and to pick up in this book, stories of my childhood, of the nostalgic farming life in my small country, telling emotions..
...that's enough to compensate the sacrifice of a farming life..."
